An Atlas is a book of maps and geographical information. Imagery for this Atlas was inspired by Wind Map, by artists Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg (http://hint.fm/wind/). Symbols printed in the margin refer to the Gazetteer, which includes language from the BBC shipping forecast. Printed from reduction linoleum on Zerkall Book paper with Bugra covers. The image on the front cover ofthe Atlas & Gazetteer comes from the 1963 Sky Almanac. Produced by Shift-lab member Sarah Bryant.
